Merv is qualified with a NZCD in Architecture and has over 25 years of experience, working for various Architects and housing companies both in Auckland and Melbourne, including Stevenson and Turner and the Fletcher's design office. Along with his son Mark they formed the family business Sandford design early in 2004. Merv has worked on many and varied projects including light commercial, shops, churches and residential design. Merv has personal involvement in the planning and design of projects and maintains an over view of subsequent stages. His skills are used to maintain good communication with Clients and consultants to achieve good design solutions for all projects.

Mark is qualified with a Diploma Architecture and has 10 years experience including working for a commercial architecture and a housing company, before forming Sandford Design. Mark has worked on many and varied projects including light commercial and residential designs. He specialises mainly in residential projects, both new houses and alterations and additions. He is dedicated to good design, and implementing a clients brief with the most efficient solution. He is committed to good innovated design solutions for all projects. Mark has recently designed and built his own house and some of his projects have been featured in residential architectural magazines.

Phill is qualified with a Diploma Design Technology, and on completing this he started working for Sandford Design. He has worked on various projects including light commercial. Retail, churches and residential projects. He has a strong commitment to providing the best workable solution for each project. He is actively involved in the concept design schemes, right through to the working drawings and on to building consent application. His speciality is using the CAD programme Archicad and providing innovative ways of working with the software to get a visually accurate representation of the projects, along with practical detailing for working drawings.

Anna is qualified with a Diploma of Interior Design, and on completing this she has worked with Sandford Design. She has worked on various interior projects, including residential, retail shop fit outs, and churches. She is dedicated to capturing colour and textures to enhance any interior to bring out the best in the design. She will assist you to develop your own unique style for your home or business, and to work with you to give you an original tasteful environment to suit your requirements.
